The City of Richmond (the “City”) plans to engage qualified electrical contractor(s) in this Request for Tender (the “RFT”) to perform an LED upgrade and install new lighting and a lighting control system at the Richmond City Hall - “RCA” located at 6911 No. 3 Rd, and Community Safety Building - “CSB” located at 12071 No. 5, as specified in Appendix 6 and 7 – Scope of Work. This project is being undertaken as a lighting improvement and energy reduction initiative. The achievement of planned energy savings is a key element of the projects. These projects involve the removal of existing lighting fixtures and control system, the installation of new lighting fixtures and updating of lighting controls. Mandatory security clearances are required in order to submit pricing for Bid package B. The City will provide drawings and a scope of work as listed under section 14 Attachments in Appendix 7 – Scope of Work once security clearances are confirmed.
