The City of Richmond (the “City”) is proposing to purchase one (1) minimum 6,500KG cutaway van with dual rear wheels (the “Requirements”), as described in the Contract Documents.

Primary application for vehicle act as a mobile workshop, for the Flood Protection Department, and to carry personnel and materials and towing of various trailers.
 

The unit shall incorporate features that provides for ease of operation and maximum safety for the public and operator and environmental considerations for reduction of emissions and environmental impacts.  Other alternative fuels will be considered and evaluations of these features will be made and will contribute to the decision of the award.
