The City of Richmond (the “City”) is proposing to engage the services of a BIM Management Consultant to provide Building Information Modelling (BIM) on the Steveston Community Centre and Branch Library Replacement Project (the “Project”), as described in the Contract Documents. The City has engaged a Prime Consultant and Construction Manager for replacement of the Steveston Community Centre and Branch Library located at 4111 Moncton Street, Richmond, BC. The new facility will be approximately 60,350 sq. ft. in floor area across three levels and centrally located on the southern edge of the Steveston Community Park. The new site will include underground and surface parking, civic plaza and relocated service access road. Currently the City estimates that enabling works will start in Winter 2022/2023, facility construction to start in Summer 2023 and expects to obtain substantial completion in Fall 2025. |
