The City of Richmond (the “City”) is proposing to purchase one (1) dump body unit and outfitting on a City provided single axle cab and chassis (the “Requirements”), as described in the Contract Documents.

The City of Richmond is requesting a Single Axle Dump Body that the selected vendor will mount on a City provided Peterbilt 567 equivalent Cab and Chassis.   The unit will be used for general duty use in the transporting construction materials and in snow ploughing and salting requirements. This unit will also be used in conjunction with the paving machine.

As it shall be the intent that this unit will have an anticipated life of 10 (ten) years the manufacturer should answer all rows in the specifications form. The unit shall incorporate features that provides for ease of operation and maximum safety for the public and operator.  Evaluations of these features will be made and will contribute to the decision of the tender award.                                                                                                                                                                                   
 

Only bids from manufacturer that have experience in manufacturing, servicing and maintaining Dump Bodies will be considered.
