The City of Richmond (the “City”) is proposing to engage a cleaning and housekeeping services provider for the Community Safety Building (“CSB”) to a standard acceptable to its tenants, management, and all stakeholders, and that is responsive to the current and future conditions relative to the COVID-19 outbreak, (the “Project”), as described in the Contract Documents.

The City reserves the right to extend the scope of services to other properties on an as and when requested basis, upon mutual agreement with the awarded Proponent.

The City will hold a Mandatory information meeting for this RFP opportunity, on March 9, 2021 at 9 am, at the RCMP building, on 11411 No.5 Rd, Richmond. The bids of those proponents who will not attend the Mandatory meeting, will not be accepted for the evaluation.

All potential Proponents shall contact the City prior to 3:00 pm, March 4, 2021, and provide the COR certificate as a mandatory requirement to be able to register for the site visit at purchasing@richmond.ca. Due to COVID-19 response each Proponent should delegate only one representative from the company and they should do the COVID self-assessment at https://bc.thrive.health/ and provide the confirmation at the day of the site visit, as well as maintain distances and wear personal protection means.
